This show came to me as a design and drafting project at first. I ended up going on-site for over two weeks to supervise the build. There was a creative concept in place. I was asked to design a truss structure that fit the design criteria and supported the massive video walls. The main span was over 64′ wide across the stage.
The biggest challenge was designing a system to keep the main video wall secure during the high winds The Las Vegas Speedway is susceptible to. The entire structure was modular. We built large sections on the ground then used cranes to lift and build from the top down.
